We have been given permission to trial a tea bar at the under 9s home games. If successful this would be looked at for other age groups. The aim is to raise some funds for the purchase of training equipment/kit. It also acts as a social aspect to the club.

We are looking for helpers to man the bar and prepare the hot water on a rota basis. If you are able to help please let paul or simon know, or go to the club forum and register your interest in the under 9 section. Click the attachment for further info

We are pleased to announce that Club Website is once again a Platinum Partner of Grass Roots Football LIVE, which returns to the NEC in Birmingham on the weekend of 4 - 6 June 2010.

Grass Roots Football LIVE is a great day out for teams of all ages and is guaranteed to help players, coaches and managers raise their game.

Spread over two halls and the size of three football pitches, Grass Roots Football LIVE includes:

- An exhibition featuring everything your club or team could ever need from balls, socks and training equipment to 3rd generation pitches and floodlights

- Three theatres, including the Inside Soccer Boot Room, where visitors get to hear some fantastic speakers and take part in some lively debates

- The Errea Coaches Arena where a fantastic line-up of professional managers and coaches will share their knowledge and experience with those running teams at grass roots level

- The Skills Zone where younger visitors have countless opportunities for top class coaching as well as plenty of fun features such as the cross bar challenge and a search for players with the hardest shot

Our friends over at Grass Roots Football LIVE have attracted another fantastic line-up of experienced coaches to pass on their knowledge of the game, including Steve Coppell, Aidy Boothroyd, Alan Curbishley, Ian Holloway, Graham Taylor, Iain Dowie, Peter Taylor and West Ham academy director Tony Carr.

So, make sure you put 4 - 6 June into your diary - it's a cracking day out for anyone involved in football.

The Club Website Team will be there once again and, as per last year, we'll be doing something new and a little bit different, so watch this space for updates as the big weekend approaches.
