Following the excellent 10 - 0 win in the cup at Queen Bees, confidence was high before kick-off.

This match today was to prove to be a complete reversal of our last fixture against the Terras where we scored six in the first half and only one in the second. Today it was the first half that proved to be the one that we struggled to find the net.

We got off to a good start and the chances were flowing in the first few minutes before Rachel found the net on five minutes. From then on, chance after chance went begging with Cody, Dani, Rachel & Tayler all seeing efforts go to waste. In fact we could have been eight up by the forty minute mark before we finally found the net again, with Rachel again the scorer.

HALF TIME - Poole Town Youth 2 - 0 Weymouth Terras

Although we were completely dominant, we knew we had to be more clinical in the box in the second half and that's exactly how it proved to be. With just a couple of minutes gone Rachel completed her hat trick with a powerful shot. Soon after Dani found the net for 4 - 0. The chances continued to flow and Rachel soon added a couple more for 6 - 0 having found some joy on the left wing, giving their right back a torrid time. Dani then grabbed her second with such a ferocious shot that it left their keeper with two broken fingers, before Rachel added her sixth. Even the goalposts came to the rescue twice as we continued to bombard the Terras goal. Tayler then finally found the target twice in quick succession for 10 - 0 before Rachel again found the net to complete the scoring. with just a couple of minutes from the end, Katie looked certain to score from a yard out but somehow the ball was cleared.

FULL TIME - Poole Town Youth 11 - 0 Weymouth Terras

Alex and Georgia were able to get some very valuable match practice today and both did well when introduced. Again we were able to rest Nat, who was still struggling with her foot injury.

Player of the match today was Tayler. Well played Tay ! A great performance overall today girls, considering we were without Nat, Hannah & Carla too !!
