Providing high quality football since 1984

Poole Town Youth Football Club is a family friendly FA Charter Standard Football club, affiliated to Dorset FA for players aged between 6 to 18 years old.

The club formed in 1984 to provide children the opportunity to play local football outside of school. We are an all inclusive club comprising of boys (mixed) and all girls teams. Teams play in the Bournemouth Youth League & Dorset league with the upper age groups participating in the Bournemouth / Hampshire / Dorset Cups. We believe in building and introducing the competitive aspect into the game as the children progress and develop.

We were proud to have been a pilot club for the FA’s initiative ‘Wildcats scheme’ back in 2018, out of which we now have two very successful and flourishing girls teams.

All our coaches are FA Level 1 status, DBS checked and first aid trained.  We invest in our coaches and have a number of who hold higher level coaching badges right up to UEFA B.

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our teams and have a dedicated representative and procedures within the club to ensure our player”s welfare are prioritised at all times.

We train on excellent 3G grounds in the winter months in Poole, to allow continued benefit and development of our teams all year round.

In 2019 we held our first  successful annual summer tournament at Poole High School with 100 teams from across the South of England participating over a weekend.

All our club volunteers are parents and we do welcome new volunteers  to ensure the continued success of the club. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to the club please contact the secretary.

Above all, we have have a passion for football and are well supported by our committee, which welcomes new members.
